Fall Prevention
Reducing fall risk and improving stability.
What this program covers
Balance and coordination difficulties increase fall risk, especially in older adults. Our balance-training programs combine strength, proprioception, and gait work to restore confidence in movement.
We begin with a full balance and fall-risk screen, then build a progressive program combining strength, proprioception, and gait training. We also review home hazards so your environment supports your new-found stability.
What recovery looks like
Balance improves steadily across 4–8 weeks of consistent training, often with meaningful confidence gains even earlier. Early intervention significantly reduces long-term fall risk.

FAQs
Common causes include weakness, inner-ear changes, medication, reduced sensation, or deconditioning — especially in older adults. A balance screen identifies the specific contributors so treatment targets the real cause.
